Johnny has been making pizza for decades and like everything else, it has only gotten better with time. In 2013, he opened RENO in Chicago which quickly landed a spot on all of the Windy City’s Best Pizza lists, and to this day offers one of the best wood-fired pies in the midwest.
Once in the Catskills, Johnny, forever inspired by nature, paired the natural yeasts found alongside the historic Beaverkill River with the best artisanal flours and the multitude of vibrant produce from local farmers. The High Meadow Pizza dough was cold fermented to perfection. The Wood-Fired oven was delivered from Naples. And the magic of Sourdough, Neapolitan-Inspired Pizza in the Catskills began.
We love bringing folks together through our love of the ‘Za, so come and join us at one of our local Pizza Pop-Ups! Or, host an event!
